Uncovering Students' Learning Styles in Biology Lessons Based on Gender in Senior High Schools in Jeneponto District

Abstract. One of the important things that must be considered by teacher in learning process is to know advance characteristics students. Learning style modality one how students and recognizes their personality process. The type research used this study was a survey using qualitative descriptive approach. population were all high school class IX, Jeneponto Regency, for 2021/2022 academic year. samples from SMA 9, 10, 12 IX. science specialization with total 67 consisting 20 male 47 female instrument VARK questionnaire (Visual, Aural, Read, Kinesthetic) developed Neil D. Fleming. Data analyzed analysis acquisition percentage each possessed results showed styles District Senior High School Aural style. There no difference between dominant gender based student Aural. .Keywords: biology lessons, styles, gender.
